March's Wind

The month of March brought a whirlwind of traveling and events.  Upon returning from Turkey, we set out for Kansas City for two weeks of training with our organization.  We deeply appreciated our time spent with the individuals there who strongly support us and deeply care for us.  We were also able to reconnect with a team we went through orientation with last summer.  Though we're won't physically be living and working in the same part of the world, we feel truly united with them in this work.  Check out their website: www.every1dakar.org
The training sessions provoked practical discussions and preparations as we anticipate the next phase of our lives.

We also were able to spend time with one of our friends from Chicago (who grew up in Kansas City) who was visiting family while we were there.  He took us out for some authentic KC BBQ experience.

Following the training, we returned to Maryland, where we immediately plunged into a week-long conference.  Through this, we were able to present our lives and ministry to an array of audiences and connect with numerous families and individuals.   We certainly feel encouragement from the people we have interacted with over this past month!
